Taxes
I have always believed that perhaps one the most important roles I can play as an elected official is to stand and protect your interests as a taxpayer. That’s why I sponsored the largest reduction in personal income taxes in Arizona history. It’s why I spent the last year successfully fighting and defeating the largest proposed tax increase in Arizona history even though it was supported by members of my own Republican party. As your next member of Congress, my promise will be the same to you as the promise I made to my constituents when I first ran for public office. I will always stand up and work to reduce the burden that taxes place on you and your family. And I will always oppose higher taxes because I understand what most Arizonans and Americans already know, you pay enough in taxes and you need leaders who are willing to fight for you. That’s what I’ve done in the Arizona Legislature, and that’s what I’ll do for you in Congress.
